As an entrepreneur, it is important to blow off steam. By getting together with other entrepreneurs, you can find out if you’re on the right track and enjoy the feeling of being understood.<\/p>\n
I had an adventure that was a little out of the ordinary thanks to a safari. With a group of friends, also entrepreneurs, who work in video, sound and TV project management, we left on a whim determined to bring back visuals from one of the world’s most beautiful seas. We have been diving for years and it\u2019s a relaxing activity for us, especially between two projects. Accustomed to killing two or more birds with one stone, we filled our go-pro and camcorder with visuals, each one more magical than the other.<\/p>\n
We were all self-employed, and managed our lives. This freedom allowed us to work without any problem on the boat, punctuated by the meals, the craziness of each other, and of course, the 3 to 4 dives per day in the middle of wrecks, sharks, and all that this beautiful sea offers. I met Mohammed, a staff member on this boat, who later became a friend, and who organized a whole bunch of professional meetings in Cairo for me, 6 months later.<\/p>\n
I remember the “main room” of the boat turning into a debriefing room, a meeting room, and a video\/photos editing room.<\/p>\n
Traditional music was playing on board…in the evening, sharks were prowling between the boats with their fins sticking out. Something to make you shudder for the next day’s dive! We enjoyed 8 days, feeling relaxed, and available for our clients. Besides diving and working, we didn’t take care of anything (neither meals, nor cleaning etc…), not to mention the fact that we came back with a ton of pictures in our cameras and in our heads.<\/p>\n
I do hope that I will work for the safaris in Egypt, we have our very first fresh ideas…more in the next episode.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
